I learned to manage the awful pancreatitis morning flareāa deep, gnawing pain radiating to my back with intense nausea.
My routine was simple but effective. I started the day slowly with sips of lukewarm water. Then, I'd have a very small, bland, warm meal, like a few spoonfuls of thin oatmeal. A warm compress on my abdomen also provided immense, soothing relief.
This gentle approach didn't cure it, but it calmed the storm. It turned an unbearable morning into a manageable one, giving me back a sense of control.
